Description
This is a true mountain adventure for Blue Sheep in Nepal. Hunters fly to Kathmandu, Nepal, via Istanbul or South Korea. Normally the hunt is 10 days, including hiking into and out of the area, from the helicopter drop off location. Generally 2 hunters hunt on the same date, from the same base/spike camp. There are 20 plus porters, guides, assistants and a manager/interpreter. Hunting elevations run from 12,500 to 15,500 feet. We offer a spring hunt in March/April and a fall hunt in late Sept/Oct/early November. Tahr can be added to the hunt if permits are available. Hunters need to be fit and experienced in mountain hunting. The staff will carry your pack and rifle, but hiking is on steep mountain trails at times. Food is multi-course meals, prepared in traditional Nepalese style. Sleeping is in 2-3 man backpack tents, with 1 client/tent.
